Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann arrived in Bathinda on Monday (June 23), where he handed over appointment letters to 658 youths appointed in various departments. During this, he announced that after the completion of the probation period of women appointed in Group-C and Group-D, posting will be done within a radius of 40 km from their permanent address. Targeting the central government, the Chief Minister said that even exams like NEET are not being conducted properly and so far 93 papers have been leaked. At the same time, he claimed that during the tenure of the Punjab government, no recruitment examination paper has been leaked so far. Mann said that earlier jobs were sold, but now recruitment is being done purely on merit.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that earlier jobs were sold in Punjab. The rates were fixed according to the job. Up to Rs 40 lakh, Rs 50 lakh and Rs 70 lakh were charged. If someone has taken a job by paying Rs 50 lakh, then he will first try to fulfill that amount. Because such a huge amount cannot be met by salary alone.
