Tanka Torani Recipe (Step-by-Step):

Soak the Rice

Place cooked rice in a clean mud vessel 

Cover and let it ferment overnight or for at least 24 hours.

After fermentation, gently crush the rice using your hands or a spoon to make rice water

Prepare the Masala (Spice Mix) Crush together: 2-inch mango ginger 2 lemon leaves A few curry leaves This aromatic mix will enhance the flavor of the drink.

Flavor the Drink Add the freshly prepared masala to the rice water. Sprinkle in roasted crushed cumin seeds. Add salt to taste and mix well.

Serve Chilled   Strain if desired. Serve cool in earthen cups for an authentic experience.
