Amritsar, July 12: Monsoon is slowing down in Punjab from today. Yellow alert has been issued for rain in 3 districts today, while the situation is going to be normal in the other districts. According to the Meteorological Center, the coming 4 days will be normal. At the same time, due to the rain in the past few days, there has been a continuous decrease in temperature. There has been a decrease of 2.4 degrees in the average temperature of the state.
Talking about the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature has remained 4.6 degrees below normal. The lowest temperature of the state was reported at Bhakra Dam Nangal, which was 32.6 degrees. At the same time, there were 10 districts of the state where the temperature was recorded below 30 degrees. In which 29.1 degrees were recorded in Amritsar, 29.8 degrees in Patiala, 28.9 degrees in Pathankot, 28.2 degrees in Bathinda and 28.5 degrees in Faridkot.
While from Thursday morning to 5.30 pm, Amritsar recorded 22.5 mm of rain, Patiala 2 mm, Pathankot 22 mm, Bathinda 9 mm, Fazilka 4 mm, Mohali 5 mm and Moga 6.5 mm.
Monsoon will be active again from July 16
Monsoon is slowing down in Punjab from today. Due to which the situation in the state is expected to remain normal for the next 4 days. But after 4 days, changes will be seen again. There are chances of rain again in the state from 16th July. But there will be a slight increase in temperature for 4 days and humidity may trouble people.
Its effects are expected to remain for several days and the temperature in the state will fall.
