Ferozepur, July 20: Alert soldiers of the 155th battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF) posted on the India-Pakistan international border on Saturday caught a Pakistani citizen while infiltrating the Indian border. The incident took place near the Border Out Post (BOP), KMS Wala district, Ferozepur. Where the BSF jawans caught him during suspicious activities.
According to BSF sources, the soldiers posted near border pillar number 190/4 near the BOP noticed some suspicious movement across the fencing. The soldiers immediately became alert and challenged the intruder, but he kept moving forward without stopping. In a few moments, he entered about 80 meters inside the Indian territory, after which the BSF caught him.
Resident of Khenewal, Pakistan
The arrested person has been identified as Muzammil Hussain (24 years), son of Muhammad Hussain, resident of Mian Chhanu village, District Khanewal, Pakistan. During interrogation, 20 rupees in Pakistani currency (two 10-10 rupee notes) were recovered from him. No weapon or suspicious material was recovered from him.
BSF is interrogating
At present, the arrested Pakistani citizen has been brought to the BOP barrier for preliminary interrogation. In this regard, the security agencies have started questioning him to find out whether he crossed the border by mistake or if there was some special intention behind it.
