New Delhi: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Thursday announced a nationwide campaign titled ‘Kya Bolti Public’, saying the party will travel across the country from September to engage with citizens and bring issues such as unemployment, education reforms and social justice to the centre of its political agenda.

Addressing a press conference after the CJP core team meeting in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, Dipke said the party would continue to function as a pressure group rather than transform into a political party. CJP chief spokesperson Saurav Das, spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka and other party leaders were also present.
‘Institutional accountability is in a dangerous situation’
Dipke alleged that institutional accountability in the country was under threat and raised concerns over the functioning of the Election Commission.
“Earlier, voters used to choose a government. Today, the government is deciding who will vote. Democracy cannot function this way. We have to fix the accountability of the Election Commission. Until then, election manipulation will continue,” he said.
Unemployment, education reforms to be key focus
Calling unemployment one of India’s biggest challenges, Dipke said the party would make it a nationwide issue through the ‘Kya Bolti Public’ campaign. He also stressed the need for education reforms, alleging that education has become increasingly unaffordable and profit-driven.
Referring to the recent student protests, Dipke described Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation as the biggest achievement of the agitation. He said the movement was supported not only by students but also by unemployed youth who participated in the protests at Jantar Mantar.
Calls for stronger media credibility
The CJP founder also called for restoring the credibility of the media, saying the concerns of India’s youth have not received adequate attention.
He said nearly 65 per cent of India’s population is below the age of 35, but issues such as unemployment and access to quality education have failed to become central to mainstream political discourse. Through the ‘Kya Bolti Public’ campaign, the party aims to amplify these concerns and engage directly with people across the country.
