24-year-old Samrala youngster dies in Italy

Ludhiana:

A 24-year-old Samrala based youngster lost his life in a road accident in Italy on Tuesday.

The victim has been identified as Paramvir Singh of Salaudi village of Samrala of Ludhiana district.

Paramvir Singh had moved to Italy just a month ago in search of better livelihood opportunities. His family was devastated when they received news that he had died in a fatal accident.

According to the family, Paramvir was on his way to work when a speeding car collided with his bicycle, killing him on the spot.

His family, still in shock, has appealed to the Government of India to assist them in bringing his mortal remains back to India for cremation.

Surjit Singh, Paramvir’s paternal uncle, shared that the family had spoken to him just hours before the accident, and Paramvir had expressed satisfaction with his work in Italy.

Paramvir is survived by his parents and a brother, who is a small farmer. The family mentioned that they had sent him to Italy to work due to their limited means, as they owned only a small piece of land.
