Three pessenger killed in Nainital after the pessenger bus falls into deep ditch

Uttarakhand: Around three persons have been killed in Nantinal area of Uttrakhand on Wednesday after a pessenger bus carriying 27 pessengers fell into a deep ditch of 100 meters. 

Official sourcees confirmed the incident said that around three peoples have been killed in this accident while 24 other pessengedrs have been rescued by authorities.

Soon after the incident the teams of State Disaster Rescue Operation Force (SDRF) with locals to rescue the passengers.  

He also said that the bus was en route to Alomora to Haldawani when it falls into a deep ditch near Ranibagh road.

The senior superintendent of Police while giving the details said that today on 25 December 2024, information was received from the District Control Room, Nainital that a roadways bus has crashed near Bhimtal, on which the rescue teams of SDRF have left for the spot from Post Nainital and Khairna.  

However the officials also said the rescue operation is underway to ensure no one is left behind in the bus.
