Pali (Rajasthan): Late on Tuesday night, around 2 AM, a tragic road accident occurred near the Gajangadh toll plaza in the Rohat police station area of Pali, where a speeding truck collided with an ambulance. This accident resulted in the deaths of two women and the ambulance driver, while another ambulance driver was injured and has been referred to Jodhpur for treatment.

According to the police, the incident happened near the Gajangadh toll plaza when the ambulance was transporting a patient named Ashok, who had been admitted to a hospital in Palanpur and was being brought to Jodhpur after his condition improved. During the journey, a stray cattle suddenly appeared on the road, causing the ambulance to crash. As a result, they had to call for another ambulance from Jodhpur to transfer the patient mid-route.

When the second ambulance arrived from Jodhpur and the patient was being shifted, a speeding truck collided with the ambulance. In this accident, the patient’s relatives, Mohini Devi (42), wife of Jagram Vishnoi, and Fagli Devi (45), wife of Udaram Vishnoi, as well as one ambulance driver, were killed.

Upon receiving the news, the police arrived at the scene and took them to Bangar Hospital, where both women were declared dead after examination. The drivers of both ambulances were injured; one driver later died during treatment in Jodhpur, while the other driver is still undergoing treatment.

It is reported that Ashok Kumar (21), a resident of Wadanaya Bhadi in Jalore, had been injured in a road accident a few days prior, and had been receiving treatment at a hospital in Palanpur (Gujarat). Mohini Devi and Fagli Devi had gone to see him, and after Ashok’s condition improved, they got into the ambulance to accompany him to Jodhpur when this heartbreaking accident occurred.
