Jammu: In view of the increasing passenger traffic during Navratri, the Railways has decided to add an additional Third AC (3AC) coach to the Jammu-New Delhi Rajdhani Express. This facility will be available from March 16 to March 20, 2026, providing relief to pilgrims, especially those visiting the Mata Vaishno Devi Temple.
Passengers will get a big relief
The addition of this additional coach will provide approximately 72 additional berths per journey. This will reduce the waiting list and allow more passengers to get confirmed tickets. This step has been taken keeping in mind the convenience of passengers.
Statement from Railway Officials
This decision was taken under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Vivek Kumar. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Uchit Singhal said that providing safe and comfortable travel to passengers during Navratri is a priority. He added that the additional coach is equipped with modern amenities and safety standards.
