Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad Crime Branch has arrested an accused in the murder case of Amritsar-based social media influencer Mad Sandhu. The arrested accused has been identified as Parminder Kaka alias Parminder Prasad. According to the police, the accused is accused of firing during the murder and arranging the bike used in the crime.
Murder committed on October 3
According to information, Mad Sandhu was shot dead in Amritsar on October 3. The incident took place in the Amritsar Cantonment police station area. Police have registered FIR number 186/2026, charging him with murder under Section 103 of the IPC.
Following the murder, police began searching for the accused and are investigating the role of those involved in the incident.
Investigation into Connections with Goldy Brar Gang
According to the Ahmedabad Crime Branch, the Mad Sandhu murder case is also investigating a possible connection to Goldy Brar’s international gang. Based on information gathered during the investigation, the Crime Branch arrested Parminder Kaka, alias Parminder Prasad.
Police allege that the accused fired shots during the crime and also played a role in providing the motorcycle used in the murder.
Reached Udaipur from Amritsar and then Ahmedabad
According to police, the accused fled from Amritsar after the murder. He first went to Udaipur and then to Ahmedabad. After reaching Ahmedabad, the Crime Branch took action and arrested him.
Punjab Police Interrogating
Following his arrest, the Ahmedabad Crime Branch handed him over to the Punjab Police. The Punjab Police is now interrogating him.
During the investigation, police will investigate the conspiracy, other individuals involved, and the accused’s alleged role. Currently, police are investigating the shooting, the arrangement of the bike, and other facts related to the murder.
