Ludhiana, August 18: The leaders of Shiromani Akali Dal, on Monday, staged a protest outside mini secretariat demanding legal action against AAP’s Punjab Affairs incharge Manish Sisodia for his ‘highly provocative utterance’.
The Manish Sisodia’s recent statement, “saam daam dand bhed” ahead of 2027 assembly elections has sparked political storm.
Bhupinder Bhinda, District President, SAD Ludhiana Urban, said that the party leaders alleged that Sisodia, in his recent statements, openly admitted to using deceit, false promises, violence, communal discord, and money power as political strategies for the 2027 elections. Terming such remarks as highly irresponsible and unacceptable, SAD leaders said that Punjabis would never tolerate such tactics.
SAD leader Adv. Parupkar Singh Ghuman said that FIR should be registered against Sisodia and warned that if such politics of deception and confrontation continues, SAD will intensify its protest across state.
