Mumbai: Alia Bhatt has unveiled her first look from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Love & War, stepping into a glamorous retro avatar that appears inspired by the cabaret era of Bollywood.
The first look, released on Friday, shows Alia dressed in a striking red outfit and posing on a stage illuminated by multiple spotlights. She completes the look with an elaborate red feathered headpiece, giving the character a distinctly vintage cabaret-inspired appearance.
Alia shared the picture on social media with the caption, “Reunited 🌹.” The film marks her second collaboration with Bhansali after the 2022 blockbuster Gangubai Kathiawadi.

The new poster comes a day after the makers revealed Ranbir Kapoor’s first look from the film. Ranbir was shown behind the wheel of a vintage car, with a bruised and bloodied arm adding an intense element to his character poster.
The contrasting first looks of Alia and Ranbir have offered audiences an early glimpse into the film’s visual world, while details about Alia’s character remain under wraps.
Ranbir, Alia And Vicky Kaushal Lead The Film
Love & War brings together Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles, with Sanjay Leela Bhansali directing the project.
Alia has previously worked with both actors — with Ranbir in Brahmastra and with Vicky Kaushal in Raazi. Love & War is scheduled to release in theatres on January 21, 2027.
