Mumbai: The number of threats against Bollywood film stars is increasing. Following the firing incident at actor Tiger Shroff’s house, actor Ayushmann Khurrana has also allegedly received a threatening audio message. According to sources, the sender identified himself as a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and demanded crores of rupees.
Police investigating the audio, cyber cell also active
Police have begun investigating the matter. According to officials, the voice of the person identifying himself in the audio is being matched with the voices of the accused in police records. The cyber cell is also working to trace the mobile number and location from which this message was sent to Ayushmann.
Tusshar Kapoor also demanded Rs 5 crore
Earlier, actor Tusshar Kapoor also allegedly received a similar threatening audio message. The sender, identifying himself as Harry Boxer, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, demanded ₹5 crore from the actor. However, initial investigations revealed the audio was fake. Police are now investigating whether an organized gang is behind these threats or whether an individual is using them to spread terror.
In February this year, Harry Boxer also allegedly threatened actor Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Rohit Shetty. However, according to reports, he was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials in California, USA.
Also claimed responsibility for the attack involving Tiger Shroff
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang also claimed responsibility for the attack involving actor Tiger Shroff on October 18. Anil Pandit, a representative of the gang, shared a post on social media threatening to target people close to Salman Khan.
Salman Khan and his family also threatened
In addition, an audio clip was released purportedly warning Salman Khan that if he did not apologize to Lawrence Bishnoi or the Bishnoi community, his family would also be targeted. The audio threatened harm to the entire family.
Currently, the police are investigating all these threatening messages and trying to identify the accused.
