‘Rule of Law’ Has Replaced ‘Riot Culture’ in UP, Says CM Yogi

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday asserted that the Babri Masjid will not be rebuilt “till eternity”, reiterating his government’s stand on the Ayodhya dispute while addressing a public gathering in Barabanki.

 CM Reiterates Ram Mandir Verdict

Yogi Adityanath said the matter had been settled by the Supreme Court, and the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya was carried out in accordance with constitutional and legal processes. He emphasised that there was no scope for reopening the issue.

 Political & Legal Context

The chief minister’s remarks come amid ongoing political debates around religious sites and historical disputes. The Supreme Court’s 2019 verdict paved the way for the Ram Temple, while alternative land was allotted for a mosque in Ayodhya.

 Reactions Expected

The statement is likely to spark political reactions, particularly from Opposition parties and minority groups, as religious issues remain sensitive ahead of key political developments.
