Security forces were attacked by heavily armed militants in the Ahmad Wal region of Nushki on Monday. This comes just three days after a military convoy was attacked.

There was also an explosion in Kharan and mines were reportedly laid in the area restricting military movement.

This comes after heavy fighting broke out between security forces and militants in the Lijay region of Kharan on Sunday. Eight security forces personnel were reported to have died or been injured after an explosion hit a military vehicle and there was a subsequent firefight. A quad copter was also reportedly shot down.

A missile strike by drone was also reported in the area.

A military operation was ongoing in Dasht, Sholi Bazaar, Front Bazaar and the Siyaji mountain range areas of Kech district on Sunday. The operation began on Saturday and a large amount of security forces were deployed along with heavy artillery.

Local sources reported to the TBP said state-sponsored death squads, known to be armed, were also taking part.

Baloch Republican Guards Seize Camp And Kill 12 Security Forces Personnel

The Baloch Republican Guards claimed to launch an attack on the main military camp in Sanni, Kachhi district, on Sunday morning.

“Our mujahidin successfully took full control of the camp after multiple attacks. We killed 12 Pakistani military personnel and the remaining forces fled,” Dostain Baloch, BRG Spokesperson, told the TBP.

He added that the town of Sanni, along with the police station and government buildings, was now under the control of the group.

The spokesperson said that Pakistani forces deployed helicopters to extract the dead and injured. However, BRG fighters ambushed military convoys. Despite being backed by gunship helicopters the additional forces were forced to pull out.

The BRG also claimed to attack a gas pipeline in Bala Chowk, Punjab’s Rahim Yar Khan district, on Sunday night.

“We detonated explosives on a 36 inch gas pipeline which caused heavy damage,” Dostain Baloch said in a statement on Monday.

Balochistan Liberation Front Claims 25 Operations In October Killing Over 129 Pakistani Military And Intelligence

Separately, the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) claimed to have conducted 25 operations throughout Balochistan in October, killing over 129 Pakistani military and intelligence personnel.

The BLF spokesperson, Major Gwahram Baloch, said in a monthly report released on Sunday that the number includes casualties from the so-called Operation Almas in Gwadar. They claimed that over 80 military and intelligence forces were killed in the operation and dozens injured.

They also claimed that military barracks, intelligence buildings and armoury vehicles were destroyed. A police station was also taken.

However, Pakistan’s military said that ten attackers, including one woman, were killed in the attacks on Gwadar city and the Gabd border crossing. The military said that their forces did not suffer any casualties.

The BLF said that they attacked seven military posts, six camps, two intelligence buildings and 11 military convoys in October.

They also said that 14 military vehicles, two spy drones, five quad copters, one spy camera and one mobile tower were destroyed.

The group also claimed to have destroyed 15 commercial trailers and trucks due to them supporting state projects. A government vehicle was also taken.

Eight BLF fighters were killed during Operation Almas and 23 others were killed on other fronts.

It cannot be confirmed how many military forces were killed, how much land was taken over and how much damage was caused due to the claims by the BRG and BLF.
