A 6-year-old girl was allegedly molested and tried to commit misconduct in a colony in Karnal city, police said on Sunday. The charge is against a neighbour who tried to take the girl away from the room and misbehave with her. The incident came to light when the girl told her mother the whole story.
The mother reported the matter to the police. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
The accused took the girl away with him.
The complainant’s mother said in the complaint given in the police station city Karnal that she lives in a rented house. Satyanarayan, 55, who lives next door, lured his six-year-old daughter away. It is alleged that the accused locked the room from outside and picked up the girl and took her with him.
Trying to undress
According to the mother, the accused molested the girl and touched her inappropriately. An attempt was made to take off the girl’s clothes and also scratched her mouth. The mother was in the room at the time of the incident, but she could not get out due to latches from outside.
On May 8 at 4 pm, the girl told the whole story.
The victim narrated the entire incident to her mother at around 4 pm on May 8. The family immediately lodged a complaint with the police. The complaint said that the accused used abusive language and threatened to kill him if he resisted. On May 8, the police registered a case against the accused Satyanarayana on the basis of a complaint in the city of Karnal. The police are investigating the matter.
