Tibetan foreign woman attack on exiled MP Mcleodganj Himachal Pradesh, detained

Dharamsala (Himachal Pradesh): A Tibetan foreign woman of American origin stopped the car of an exiled Tibetan MP and attacked him outside the head-office of the Central Tibetan Administration located in McLeodganj last evening Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.

The police was already present on the spot after receiving intelligence input before the attack. Due to this, the attack by the foreign woman on the exiled Tibetan MP was foiled. The police have detained the attacking woman and started questioning her.

This attack on the exiled Tibetan MPs happened a day after malicious comments were being made on social media platforms regarding the murder of the Dalai Lama, the supreme spiritual leader of the Tibetans. The attacker foreign woman has been detained and investigation is underway.

According to the preliminary investigation of the police, the attacking woman is an American citizen of Tibetan origin. The woman’s passport and visa are being investigated. The police is trying to find out when and with what intention the woman reached McLeodganj.

Kangra SP Shalini Agnihotri said that the motive of the woman’s attack is being ascertained. She said, based on intelligence input, the police was already alert. Therefore, the attack was foiled. The woman who attacked is an American citizen. Her interrogation is going on.
