The new Chief Minister can be announced in Maharashtra today. For this, the leaders of the three parties of the Mahayuti will meet in Delhi. It is believed that the next CM can be from BJP. Ajit Pawar, who was the Deputy CM in the previous government, has left for Delhi to attend this meeting.
Earlier, on Wednesday, acting CM Eknath Shinde said in a press conference in Thane that they accept the BJP CM. “I do not crave for the post. When I was the Chief Minister, Modi ji stood with me. Now whatever decision he takes will be accepted”, said Shinde.
Shinde said, “I called Modi ji on 26 November. There is no difference of opinion between us. Do not bring any hindrance in your mind. We are all part of the NDA. Whatever decision is taken in the meeting, we will accept it. There is no speed breaker. We will not become an obstacle in forming the government.”
Shinde said, “I never considered myself the Chief Minister. I always worked as a common man. This is the victory of the people. Thanks to the people for their support. During the elections, I used to work till 5 am. All the workers worked very hard.”
Former Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis said that Shinde’s statement has cleared everyone’s doubts. There has never been any difference of opinion in the Mahayuti. We will soon take a decision on the name of the Chief Minister.
Eknath Shinde said, “I understand the problems faced by the common man. I have never considered myself a Chief Minister. I have always worked as a common man. I have been seeing how the family is run. I thought that when I get power, I will bring schemes for those who are in trouble.”
