In Kishanpur village of Gurdaspur, a group of stray dogs attacked on a woman badly. In this incident woman died. The deceased Harjeet Kaur had come to her maternal home for last few days. She had left home for a walk, during which she was surrounded by dogs and attacked. He was scratched so badly that he died on the spot.
The family members of 25-year-old married woman Harjeet Kaur daughter of Pritam Singh, told that their daughter Harjeet Kaur was married to Harjinder Singh, resident of village Khojkipur. Her husband is in BSF. He has two eight and four years old sons.
Harjeet Kaur left home for a walk at around five o’clock this morning. When she did not return for a long time, her family started searching for her. His body was found lying near the cremation ground of village Jagowal .
A group of dogs was also sitting nearby. The family members of the deceased have demanded from the district administration to get rid of the problem of stray dogs. Police station Bhaini Mian Khan has taken the body into its custody and sent it to Civil Hospital Gurdaspur for post-mortem.
