Hoshiarpur police solved the Mukerian Jaura Jewellers robbery case, the owner was the mastermind

Punjab Hoshiarpur police have successfully solved the robbery case at Mukerian Jaura Jewelers. The investigation revealed that the owner was the mastermind behind the robbery. Hoshiarpur Police SP Sarabjit Bahia said that on April 23, 2024, at around 8.40 pm, three robbers were came on bikes and robbed Jauda Jewelers Shop Mukerian at gunpoint.

Atin Jaurason of Mohan Lal Jaura resident of Gandhi Colony Mukerian, reported to the police that he was robbed at gunpoint. The robbers took away a gold chain from him, along with 2 diamond rings that he had in his hands. They also looted cash worth Rs. 2 lakhs and about 25 Tola gold jewelry.

SP Bahia said that during the investigation police arrest one accused Rohit Kumar alias Anda son of Rashpal Singh resident of Ram Colony Camp, Hoshiarpur along with illegal weapons and intoxicating pills.

During the interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that the robbery at Jauda Jewellers was staged by Atin Jauda, the owner, along with Rohit Kumar, Vipan Kumar, Paramveer Singh, Abhishesh Rana, Prahlad Singh, Sahil, and Raman Kumar.

Owner and other accused arrest

Paramveer Singh alias Param, Abhishesh Rana alias Munna and Prahlad Singh were arrested near village Mansar. SP Bahia told that shop owner Atin Jauda arrested from bus stand Mukerian.
