Batala Guru Nanak Nagar the fight between 6 year old children took a serious turn late night. In which 7 rounds were fired from one side. Two people were seriously injured in this incident. Police reached the spot, recovered bullet shells and started further action by taking statements from both the parties.

Police officer Lalit Kumar told that he was got a call from Mohit Bedi wife that there was a fight between the children in the street and the neighbors were coming to their house and Quarrelled. They attack with pelting stones and also fire bullets with pistol.
Police officer told Police have started investigation against Accused Surinder Singh and his son who fired bullets. Whereas the victim party has demanded that a case of murder with intent under section 307 of IPC should be registered against the culprits.

Victim Mohit Bedi told that he was in Amritsar. His wife called and told that their son had a fight with the neighbour children in which his son was beaten. Meanwhile, he told his wife to complain about this to the neighbours. When Mohit’s wife complained, the child’s grandfather Surinder became angry.

He reached Mohit’s house and started threatening Mohit’s wife there. He threatened to find out his record, he does not waste time in shooting. On this, Mohit’s wife said that he should sit inside the house and talk and Mohit’s wife made a call and got Mohit to talk to Surinder.

Mohit Bedi said that when the wife talked to Surinder, he said that he was coming. Let’s sit and talk. On this Surinder again started threatening that he was a scoundrel and would shoot. He has fired bullets before also.

After this, when Mohit went to talk to him after coming home, Surinder, his son and daughter-in-law fire bullets, Pelting bricks and stones on him.
Mohit and his brother have been injured in this attack. Mohit’s brother was hit by bullet fragments in his leg.
