Mansa (Punjab): In Mansa, a young man killed his girlfriend before taking his own life. The woman was married to someone else, but despite this, she and the young man maintained communication. Following a dispute between them, he committed the tragic act. The police have registered a case and begun an investigation.
In Bodawal village of Mansa, a man named Major Singh poured kerosene on his girlfriend, leading to her death. After committing the crime, Major Singh also took his own life by hanging himself. The villagers and the family of the deceased have declined to comment on the incident.
SHO Jaspreet Singh reported that Baljinder Singh, the husband of the deceased, Manjit Kaur, filed a complaint with the police. In his statement, he explained that his wife had been in contact with Major Singh. However, she had recently stopped talking to him and had developed a strong dislike for him.
According to Baljinder, this prompted Major to attempt to kill his wife by pouring kerosene on her. Based on this information, a murder case has been registered against Major Singh.
