Bathinda: In Kamalu village located near the Punjab-Haryana border in Bathinda, Punjab, two unknown robbers attacked a liquor shop employee at gunpoint and escaped with the shop’s cash box.

The injured employee has been admitted to Bathinda AIIMS Hospital for treatment. After getting the information, Rama Police Station and DSP reached the spot and started investigating the case.

Two unknown youths riding a motorcycle came to a liquor shop of Malhotra Group in Kamalu village of Rama Mandi on Saturday evening and suddenly attacked the liquor shop’s employee Deepak Kumar alias Deepu, resident of Uttar Pradesh, with sharp weapons. The attackers attacked Deepak several times and left him bleeding and escaped from the spot with the cash box at the shop.

It is not yet known how much money was in the cash box. The injured employee Deepu has been admitted to Bathinda AIIMS for treatment. It is being told that the robbers have badly cut one of Deepak’s shoulders, due to which his condition remains critical. Meanwhile, Rama police station has reached the spot and started investigation.
