Jalandhar: After remaining silent for a few days, Jalandhar Municipal Corporation has once again become active against illegal construction. The officials of the building branch of the corporation have stopped illegal construction at two places and issued notices to the owners.
Municipal Corporation ATP Sukhdev Vishisht said that on the orders of the Corporation Commissioner, illegal construction has been stopped in Green County, the most posh gated colony of Ladhewali. Eight villas have been built illegally here, whose finishing work was going on.
Map passed in 2013 and were now constructing
Corporation officials said that the management of Green County had got the map of the eight villas it is constructing passed in 2013. Now the validity of that map has expired. The work of the villas in Green County has been stopped and a notice has been issued to them.
Similarly, an illegal colony was being developed in 5 acres in Kot Ramdas. Here too, the corporation team has taken action. Here too the construction work has been stopped and notice has been issued to those cutting the colony.
