Dabwali (Haryana): An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) posted at the Dabwali City police station in Sirsa district has been suspended, while a Munshi has been transferred to the Police Lines following departmental action.

ASI Balwinder and Munshi Satpal had been serving at the same police station in Dabwali for a considerable period. The department has not cited any specific case or incident as the reason for the action, describing it as part of an administrative procedure.

According to reports, the departmental action against ASI Balwinder and Munshi Satpal followed their prolonged posting at the same police station.

The action was taken on the directions of Dabwali SP Jasleen Kaur. The move has sparked discussion within the local police department, although officials have maintained that it was taken for administrative reasons.

Police spokesperson Anand Kumar Beniwal confirmed the action and said it was a routine departmental measure taken for administrative reasons.
