Narela: A shocking murder case has surfaced from Delhi’s Narela area, where a 17-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed to death by his friend on the day of his birthday celebrations. The incident took place in Kureni village on Friday evening and has left the family and local residents in deep shock.
According to police, the teenager had turned 17 on May 15 and was preparing to celebrate with relatives and friends when an argument reportedly broke out between him and one of his friends.
Minor Accused Detained by Police
Police said the dispute quickly escalated, after which the accused allegedly attacked the boy with a knife and stabbed him near the neck. The victim collapsed on the spot after suffering serious injuries.
After receiving a PCR call, police rushed the injured teenager to Satyawadi Raja Harish Chandra Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. A minor suspect has been detained in connection with the case and the knife used in the crime has also been recovered.
Family Alleges Further Threats
The victim’s family has alleged that even after the murder, the accused attempted to threaten them by reaching their house late at night with a knife. Family members claimed the accused tried to intimidate and attack them while they were mourning the teenager’s death.
Police have registered a murder investigation.
