A case of drug home delivery has come to light in Mohali. In the village of Jhanjheri, two young men in a car had come to supply drugs. They had received an order over the phone. As soon as the villagers got information about this, they caught both of them and handed them over to the police. Now the police are investigating the matter. Both youths are said to be residents of Muktsar, Punjab.
Supplying for the past 2 years
In this case, villager Amit Khan said that these people had been supplying drugs in the village for the past two years. When the villagers got to know about it, they planned to catch them. Today, when they came to supply drugs in their car, the villagers surrounded and caught both of them. After that, the police were called to the spot, and both accused were handed over to the police.
Interrogation of both accused is ongoing
Gurpreet Singh, the SHO of Kharar Sadar Police Station in Mohali, said that both accused have been caught and are being interrogated. During the questioning, it will be found out where they were getting the drugs from. Based on villagers’ statements, a case is being registered in this matter.
