Amritsar: Border Security Force Jawan recovered 495 gm heroin from a border village in Amritsar, Punjab. BSF search operation team also arrested a smuggler in this connection. BSF officials said that troops, acting on a drone intrusion alert, swiftly launched an ambush-cum-search operation in coordination with intelligence units. Resulting in the apprehension of an Indian smuggler, belonging to a border village of Amritsar district.
During the operation, a packet weighing 495 grams of heroin was also recovered, along with a motorcycle and a mobile phone used in the smuggling activity. this meticulously planned action reflects the BSF’s exceptional vigilance and operational expertise in tackling cross-border threats.
