ED Raids Call Centre Offices in Patiala, Mohali Over Suspected ₹300 Crore Foreign Transactions

Chandigarh: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at locations in Patiala and Mohali, Punjab, on Wednesday as part of an ongoing investigation into suspected financial transactions involving around ₹300 crore transferred abroad.

ED Raids Call Centre Office in Patiala

The ED team raided an office of DM Web Solution at SCO 29 in Urban Estate Phase 2, Patiala. The office was reportedly being used as a call centre and was allegedly operating around the clock.

Around 15 to 20 officials were present at the location. The team arrived in two vehicles and restricted the movement of people in and out of the premises after beginning the search operation in the morning.

Search Conducted in Mohali

The ED also conducted a search at Plot No. 2010 in Sector 82A, Mohali. The premises are reportedly linked to an individual associated with an IPS officer.

According to information available during the investigation, the ED had received inputs regarding foreign transactions amounting to around ₹300 crore. Further details are being examined as part of the probe.

DM Web Solution Earlier Operated as Flying Feather

According to the information, the owner of the Mohali-based office has a brother who operated an office in Patiala. The ED is examining whether transactions under investigation were carried out through the DM Web Solution office.

The Patiala office was earlier reportedly operating under the name Flying Feather. Its name was changed to DM Web Solution a few months ago. The Flying Feather office was later shifted to Chhoti Baradari in Patiala, but that office has also reportedly remained closed for some time.
