The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted a raid at the Patiala residence of Hitendra Harry, a close associate of senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia. This action was taken just before the Shiromani Akali Dal’s proposed anti-government protest in Patiala regarding the Faridkot paper leak case.
According to reports, the ED team arrived at Hitendra Harry’s Model Town residence in three vehicles. Officials entered the house directly without speaking to anyone and did not respond to questions from the media.

Security personnel closed the inner gates of the residence, after which the ED began its search and investigation. Sources indicated that the operation continued late into the night; during the prolonged investigation, the team even ordered food online. The search operation was expected to last for several hours.
