Haryana Assembly Poll : Congress Party action on rebels, expelled 13 Leaders

Chandigarh: During the Haryana assembly elections, the Congress party has taken significant action against rebel leaders. The party has simultaneously expelled 13 leaders from 11 assembly constituencies. The reason given is that all these leaders were involved in anti-party activities in their respective areas.

It is reported that these leaders were upset about not receiving tickets in the Haryana assembly elections and feeling neglected by the party. As a result, some leaders contested the elections independently, while others did not support the party candidate.

On the recommendation of party president Chaudhary Udaybhan, 13 leaders have been expelled. These include Anita Dhul, who is contesting as an independent after ticket was cut from Kalayat assembly seat, Vijay Jain from Panipat rural, Naresh Dhande from reserved seat Guhla, Pradeep Gill from Jind, Sajjan Singh Dhul from Pundri and Sunita Battan have been expelled for 6 years.

At the same time, Rajiv Gondar and Dayal Singh Sirohi from reserved assembly seat Nilokheri, Dilbagh Sandil from Uchana Kalan, Ajit Phogat from Dadri, Abhijeet Singh from Bhiwani, Satvir Rateda from reserved seat Bawani Khera and Neet Maan from Prithala assembly seat have been expelled from the party for 6 years.
