Chandigarh: After scrutiny Nominations of 355 candidates have been found Correct. In 13 Parliamentary constituencies of Punjab 598 candidate had file their nominations for general election.

State Chief Electoral Officer Sibin C has said that nomination papers can be withdrawn till May 17. After that the situation will become clear as to how many candidates are in the fray for 13 Lok Sabha seats.

60 nomination papers were filed by 40 candidates from Gurdaspur, out of which the papers of 29 candidates have been approved.

43 candidates from Amritsar had filed 53 nomination papers, out of which 33 nominations of candidates have found correct.

27 candidates from Jalandhar had filed 35 nomination papers, out of which 20 candidates were found eligible.

41 candidates from Anandpur Sahib had filed 56 nomination papers, out of which the papers of 29 candidates have been approved.

70 nomination papers were filed by 57 candidates from Ludhiana, out of which papers of 44 candidates have been approved.

33 nomination papers were filed by 23 candidates From Fatehgarh Sahib, out of which 15 candidates have been approved.

34 candidates had filed 41 nomination papers From Faridkot, out of which letters of 30 candidates were approved.

From Firozpur, 41 candidates had filed 48 nomination papers, out of which 33 candidates accepted.

30 candidates from Bathinda had filed 40 nomination papers, out of which the papers of 20 candidates have accepted.

38 candidates from Sangrur had filed 43 nomination papers, out of which the papers of 26 candidates have been approved.

34 candidates from Patiala had filed 49 nomination papers, out of which the papers of 27 candidates have been approved.
