Jalandhar: The Commissionerate Police in Jalandhar has arrested 5 miscreants and recovered 2 pistols and a country-made pistol from them. Two of the accused were injured in the incident but their condition is now stable. The handlers of the accused are believed to be located in Canada. In addition to the five accused, the police have also named 4 handlers in the case. These same accused individuals had fired at the house of a lawyer in Gujral Nagar yesterday.
Based on the information provided, two out of the five accused were apprehended by the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police following an encounter. The individuals attempted to flee on a motorcycle but opened fire when they spotted the police. In response, both suspects sustained injuries after being shot in the legs. Additionally, a bullet discharged by the suspects struck a police vehicle. The police seized two pistols, one of which was identified as a country-made firearm following interrogation.

Three of their accomplices also arrested, bringing the total arrest count to 5. Four additional suspects nominated including Canada-based handler for providing financial assistance to the gang Recovery
