Haryana Congress MLA on target: ED raids on Rao Dan Singh’s Premises

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has raided the house, office and farmhouse of  Rao Dan Singh, a Congress MLA from Mahendragarh in Haryana. He is close aide of former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. The ED team also raided Rao Dan Singh’s brother Rao Rajkumar’s farmhouse and residence in Shankar Colony Rewari road.

Central Security forces have been deployed at both places. No one is being allowed to come and go. Rao Rajkumar has been the former chairman of the Co-operative Society. According to sources, the Gurugram ED team has conducted this raid in connection with the Rs 1392 crore bank scam of M/s Allied Strips Limited. The team is searching documents at 15 locations in 5 cities. However, no official statement has come from the ED yet.

2 days ago, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had reached the Backward Class Samman Sammelan in Mahendragarh. Here he warned the Congress and said that I have brought the account of every penny.

During ED raid Tight Security outside Farmhouse

In the Lok Sabha elections held a month ago, on the recommendation of former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Rao Dan Singh was made to contest the from Bhiwani-Mahendragarh seat on a Congress ticket. However, Dan Singh lost this election. Whereas Shruti Chaudhary, daughter of former minister Kiran Chaudhary, was the contender for this seat. Kiran got angry because Shruti’s ticket was cut and she left the Congress and joined the BJP.

Congress party leaders has alleged that the BJP misusing the central agencies to supressed the opponents. They said ED has nothing found in raids and have not reveal what they found.
