The release date of the most awaited film Pushpa 2 has been revealed. The film will be released in theaters on 6 December 2024. The makers have shared this information by posting on social media. The film was earlier going to hit the theaters on 15 August but now the release has been delayed.
The makers also explained the reason for the change in the release date of the film. The makers said that they did not want to compromise on quality, so they took this decision.
The popularity of Pushpa 2 can be gauged from the fact that the songs and teasers of the film have received more than 100 million views. The recently released two songs of the film ‘Pushpa Pushpa’ and ‘Angaron’ were hits on YouTube.
The film may suffer a loss due to delay in release
The change in the release date may also cause heavy losses to the film. 15 August is a national holiday. Due to this, the first-day earnings of the film could have been great.
According to a report, the film could have earned 180-200 crores on the opening day in North, South, East and West. Whereas, the film could have earned up to 65 crores in the Hindi belt alone.
In this way, due to the change in the release date, the film may suffer a loss of about 30 crores. If the film had been released on August 15, it would have got a 4-day long weekend.
