Ashutosh Gowariker extends special invitation to PM Narendra Modi for son Konark’s wedding

Mumbai: Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the wedding of his son, Konark. The Gowariker family deeply admires Modi’s leadership and sees this invitation as a token of their respect and appreciation. Konark is set to marry Niyati Kanakia, daughter of prominent real estate developer Raseh Babubhai Kanakia, on March 2 in Mumbai.

The wedding is expected to be a lavish event, with numerous guests from the film and corporate sectors coming to celebrate the couple. Recently, Konark shared a sneak peek of the wedding preparations on Instagram, showing him and Niyati in traditional attire and rehearsing a dance, despite Niyati facing a minor mishap during practice.

Konark also expressed gratitude to his friends for their support in the lead-up to the wedding, highlighting how blessed he and Niyati feel to have such a wonderful circle around them.

For those unfamiliar, Konark earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Direction and Cinematography from Emerson College in Boston in 2012. He began his career in the film industry in 2013 as an assistant director at Ashutosh Gowariker Productions and has worked on significant projects like “Everest” and “Mohenjo Daro.” He also co-produced “Toolsidas Junior,” which received the Best Picture (Hindi) award at the 64th Indian National Film Awards.
