Mumbai: Ayushmann Khurrana celebrated the 10th anniversary of his debut film, “Dum Laga Ke Haisha,” on social media, sharing a video from the movie and expressing his gratitude for such a meaningful start to his career. He noted that he couldn’t have asked for a better entry into the film industry and shared his disappointment at missing the anniversary screening.

In his post, he tagged co-star Bhumi Pednekar, who portrayed Sandhya, and reminisced about their time working together. He expressed his appreciation for her role in the film and acknowledged her as a shining star. Khurrana reposted a YRF video commemorating the milestone, captioning it with a reflection on the enduring magic of their story.

Additionally, he wrote a heartfelt letter to himself, emphasizing the importance of cherishing the present. Bhumi also shared her thoughts on Instagram, recalling her nerves and emotions when she first watched the film, highlighting how her childhood dream of being a leading lady in Hindi cinema had come true.

“Dum Laga Ke Haisha,” directed by Sharat Katariya, features Khurrana as Prem Prakash Tiwari, who unexpectedly marries Sandhya, played by Bhumi. The film, which also stars Sanjay Mishra and Seema Pahwa, was released on February 27, 2015.
