Mumbai: Juhi Chawla and Shah Rukh Khan have worked in many films together. Today, both are close friends. Recently, Juhi Chawla revealed about Shah Rukh Khan that once he was not able to deposit his EMI, due to which he lost his car. Afterwards, Shah Rukh was very upset. She revealed the whole incident at an event of the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Juhi said, “Shah Rukh was not home in those days because he was from Delhi. I was not aware of who cooks meals for him, but on set, he used to eat with other people on the unit’s plate. He used to laugh and enjoy himself with other people on the set. In those days, he had a black-colored gypsy car. At that time, he was working on many films. He did ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman’, ‘dil aashna hai’, and one more film with Divya Bharti, ‘Deewana’. For some reason, he cannot pay the EMI on his car, due to which he lost it. He was very upset when he reached the set. I told him not to worry; one day you will own a lot of cars, and he remembers these words today because those words became true. See where he was and today where he is.”
