Manali: BJP MP from Mandi, Himachal and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has opened a restaurant in Manali. It will be inaugurated on Valentine’s Day i.e. 14th February. She has named the restaurant The Mountain Story.
Kangana Ranaut shared the first look of this restaurant on Instagram. She wrote- Childhood dream comes true. My small restaurant in the lap of Himalayas, The Mountain Story. This is a love story.

The restaurant is located in Prini, about 4 km from Manali and about 25 metres from the house of former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Kangana’s parents will also be present during its opening. It is being said that some political and Bollywood celebrities may also attend.
Special food will be served to the elderly
On the inauguration of The Mountain Story restaurant, special food will be served to the elders of the village. During the opening of the restaurant, Kangana’s priest Nitin Sharma will perform a special puja.
Himachal-Kulvi cuisine will be served
Himachal’s traditional dishes like Siddu, Lahaul’s Marchu, Geche and Kullvi cuisine will be served. It is located on Nagar Road, about four kilometers from Manali Mall Road.
Kangana built the restaurant in the Pahadi style
Kangana bought land in Preeni and built this restaurant in the typical Pahadi style. According to the family of the MP, opening a restaurant was Kangana’s childhood dream. Kangana is going to give this dream a tangible form.
Staff will be seen in Kullvi attire
The entire staff of Kangana’s restaurant will be seen in traditional Himachali and Kullvi attire. Kangana has reached Manali from Mumbai three days ago and is herself giving final touches to the remaining work of the restaurant.
Kangana released the video of the restaurant
Kangana Ranaut has shared the video of the restaurant on social media. In the video, Kangana can be seen entering this beautiful place surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Here the staff welcomes her, who are wearing traditional Himachali hats. The video also shows the interiors of the restaurant, which includes wooden furniture, majestic lights and a stove.
Kangana tells in this video that ‘The Mountain Story’ is inspired by her childhood memories and the aroma of food cooked by her mother. Himachali thali and other local dishes are also shown in the video. An amazing view of the mountains is visible from the outside of the restaurant. At the end of the video, Kangana says, I welcome you to The Mountain Story.
First invitation sent to Deepika Padukone
Apart from this, Kangana also shared a clip of an old interview, in which she said that she wants to open a restaurant that serves the food that she discovered and liked during her travels around the world. Deepika Padukone is also seen in this clip, who says that she will be Kangana’s first customer. Kangana tagged Deepika and wrote – You promised that you would be my first customer.
