Mumbai: Comedian Kapil Sharma has received death threats through e-mail from Pakistan. Apart from Kapil, actor Rajpal Yadav, choreographer Remo D’Souza and comedian Sugandha Mishra were also threatened.

It is written in the e-mail – We are keeping an eye on your activities. We have brought a sensitive matter to your attention. This is not a public stunt or an attempt to harass you. We request you to take it very seriously and maintain confidentiality.

At the end of the e-mail from Pakistan it is written – If this is not done, it can affect your professional and personal life. We want a reaction to this e-mail in the next 8 hours. If you do not do this, we will assume that you did not take it seriously. We will take action against you. We are not Bishnoi.

According to the information, the e-mail has been sent in the name of Vishnu. It has been claimed that he is keeping an eye on the activities of celebrities. In this case, Mumbai Police has registered a case against an unknown person under section 351 (3) of BNS. The police have started the investigation. However, there is no official statement from Kapil Sharma, Rajpal Yadav or Remo D’Souza.

According to reports, Kapil has filed a complaint in this matter. Before him, Remo D’Souza and Sugandha Mishra had filed a complaint after receiving the mail. Rajpal Yadav received this mail on 14 December last year. He filed a complaint with the police on 17 December. This mail was lying in the spam box of Rajpal Yadav’s mail.
