Mumbai, July 11: The new season of the TV show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC) will premiere from August 11. It will be telecast from Monday to Friday at 9 pm on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony Liv.
Let us tell you that this season is also being hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. Sony Channel has confirmed the return of the show. They released a video in which Amitabh is also seen.
The video begins with a scene in which a rich man shouts at a salesman. He says that the salesman ruined his carpet that came from London.
The salesman listens to him. Then he explains the carpet’s fibers and its special quality of not attracting dust. In this way he proves that there is no damage to the carpet.
Amitabh Bachchan returning as host
Let us tell you that recently, there was a discussion that Amitabh may leave this show. Bollywood Hungama had reported that Bachchan is leaving the show due to personal reasons.
It was claimed in this report that Salman Khan could be the next host of the show.
A source had told Bollywood Hungama, “Salman Khan is the king of the small screen, and he is the best face to replace Amitabh Bachchan as he has a strong connect with the small town audience as well. Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan hosted KBC and if everything goes well, Salman will create a new buzz on TV sets.”
