Neena Gupta shares a glimpse of her ‘white morning’

Mumbai: Veteran actress Neena Gupta, currently residing in Mukteshwar, Uttarakhand, shared a beautiful view of her snowy surroundings on her Instagram stories.

In her stories, she included two photos: the first showcased the scenic landscape blanketed in snow, while the second featured a yellow house enveloped in white snow and fog. She captioned the first image, “Aaj hamara Mukteswar missing,” and described the second as “White morning from our house.”

Mukteshwar is a charming village and popular tourist spot in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand.

Neena seems to enjoy the winter season, having previously commented on the Mumbai winter in a video. She expressed, “Bombay main thoda thand aagaya hai. Itna hi aata hai ab bas. Mujhe mauka mil gaya tights pahene ka aur jacket bhi pahen lengay… Jo kabhi pahene ka mauka nahi milta hai aur aiport chaldengay. Why not?” (Translation: “It’s a bit cold in Bombay now. This is all we get. I finally have a chance to wear tights and a jacket, which I rarely get to wear, and then I’ll head to the airport. Why not?”)

For this, she wrote, “Mumbai winter is here.”

On January 10, she also shared a photo of her breakfast, featuring onion paratha slathered in butter and some pickle, captioning it with “Good morning.”

Professionally, Neena Gupta has an exciting lineup of upcoming projects, including “Metro… In Dino,” “Pachhattar Ka Chhora,” and “Hindi Vindi.” She recently made her Malayalam OTT series debut with “1000 Babies,” which premiered on October 18, where she portrayed Sara Ousep, a former nurse with a troubled past.

Known for her contributions to both art-house and commercial cinema, Neena won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Woh Chokri (1994) and again for Uunchai (2022). Her television credits include a leading role in the drama series Saans (1999) and hosting the Indian version of the quiz show The Weakest Link, called Kamzor Kadii Kaun.
