Mumbai: Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh, currently vacationing in the Maldives with her husband, producer Jackky Bhagnani, shared some romantic moments from their trip on Instagram.
In a video posted on her stories, Rakul and Jackky are seen embracing each other as she asks, “Like the sunset?” Jackky, gazing lovingly at her, replies, “Lovely,” capturing a sweet and intimate moment between the couple.
It appears that Rakul is taking a break from her hectic schedule for De De Pyaar De 2 to spend quality time with her husband. Last week, she shared that she had wrapped up the Patiala schedule for the film. On Instagram, Rakul posted a photo from her vanity, writing, “And with that, we come to an end of the Patiala schedule of #ddpd2. It was a cold and hectic month, but my team made it easy for me. Can’t wait for you all to see the film and fall in love with Aisha again.”
In De De Pyaar De 2, Rakul reprises her role as Aisha, alongside Ajay Devgn. The sequel, directed by Anshul Sharma, also stars R. Madhavan. While Tabu won’t be returning, Rakul and Ajay will reprise their characters. Madhavan will play Rakul’s father, with humorous interactions between his character and Ajay’s role of Ashish.
The release date for De De Pyaar De 2 was confirmed by Luv Films on social media, announcing it will hit theaters on November 14, 2025.
The original De De Pyaar De, released in May 2019, followed the story of Ashish (Ajay Devgn), a 50-year-old man who falls in love with Ayesha (Rakul Preet), who is much younger. Their relationship faces challenges from Ashish’s family and ex-wife, Manju (Tabu).
