Mumbai: Shanaya Kapoor recently delighted her followers by posting breathtaking photos from her winter holiday in Azerbaijan.
Taking to Instagram, the young star shared a few pictures of herself enjoying the snow-covered landscapes and the region’s peaceful beauty. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and charming streets, Shanaya appeared to be embracing the winter weather with enthusiasm and style. She captioned one of her posts, “Look!!! It’s snowing!!”
In the pictures, Shanaya, daughter of Sanjay Kapoor, can be seen taking selfies with the mesmerizing snowy backdrop of Azerbaijan. Dressed in cozy winter attire, she smiled brightly for the camera. Her parents, Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor, showed their love by commenting with red heart emojis on her post.
Shanaya is currently vacationing in Baku, Azerbaijan, and also shared a fun video of herself making playful faces. A few days ago, she posted pictures with her pet dog and a soft toy, with a caption that simply said “gang.”
On the professional front, Shanaya is preparing for her Bollywood debut in the film Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan, directed by Santosh Singh. Based on Ruskin Bond’s beloved short story The Eyes Have It, Shanaya plays the role of a theatre artist, starring alongside Vikrant Massey, who portrays a blind musician.
Shanaya shared an exciting update on January 30, announcing the completion of a major filming schedule. To mark the occasion, she posted a picture featuring a clapboard and a celebratory cake with “schedule wrap” written on them, marking a key milestone in the film’s production.
Filming for Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan began last October in Mussoorie, with plans for additional shoots in Europe. Although the official release date is yet to be confirmed, the film is expected to hit theatres by mid-2025.
