Mumbai: Bollywood actors and married couple Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal had some fun at dinner by channeling the iconic duo, Juhi Chawla and Akshay Kumar, from the 1997 film Mr. & Mrs. Khiladi.
Zaheer shared a playful moment on his Instagram stories, where he was seen grooving to the famous song “Jab Tak Rahega Samose Mein Aaloo” while holding a samosa, with Sonakshi laughing at his antics as she enjoyed her dinner. The song, originally sung by Abhijeet, Poornima, and Sapna Mukherjee, was composed by Anu Malik and written by Dev Kohli.
Mr. & Mrs. Khiladi, directed by David Dhawan, is a romantic comedy and the fifth film in the Khiladi series. Unlike its predecessors, this film primarily focuses on comedy and was a remake of the 1992 Telugu film Aa Okkati Adakku.
On the personal front, Zaheer and Sonakshi, who were in a relationship for nearly seven years, tied the knot on June 23 last year in an intimate ceremony with close friends and family.
In professional news, Sonakshi’s powerful look from her upcoming film Jatadhara was revealed on Women’s Day, March 8. The poster showcases Sonakshi in an intense, striking appearance, adorned with elaborate traditional jewelry and bold makeup, including dark kohl-lined eyes and a red bindi, exuding strength and power. The tagline of the poster reads, “A Force of Strength and Power.”
Jatadhara, a mix of action, mythology, and supernatural elements, marks Sonakshi’s debut in the Telugu film industry and stars Sudheer Babu.
