Originally released during Diwali in 1996, Ghatak became a massive hit, thanks to its gripping storyline, intense performances, and unforgettable dialogues. The film, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, also starred Amrish Puri, Danny Denzongpa, and Meenakshi Seshadri in pivotal roles.
To mark the occasion, Sunny Deol shared a nostalgic video on Instagram, featuring some of the film’s most memorable moments and dialogues. He fondly remembered the late Amrish Puri, who portrayed the menacing villain Kashi Nath, and wrote, “28 years of #Ghatak! My Diwali Release of 1996!
