Vaani Kapoor, the Bollywood actress, expressed her fondness for enjoying homemade treats during festive occasions like Diwali, despite her busy work schedule.

This year she has been occupied with shooting for various upcoming projects, but she feels lucky to be involved in a range of diverse films. “I’ve had a hectic year working with incredibly talented producers, directors, and co-actors,” Vaani shared.

Typically, when she isn’t filming during Diwali, she makes it a priority to return to Delhi to celebrate with her family. “The festive spirit there is so lively and unique. I eagerly anticipate the Diwali Puja, where we unite to seek blessings for the coming year. One of my cherished traditions is lighting diyas with my family. I also love to indulge in my family’s homemade treats, from sweets to savory snacks,” she mentioned.

Vaani noted that these moments filled with joy and love are what make Diwali unforgettable for her. However, she mentioned, “This year, I’m going to miss all of that.”

In terms of her career, Vaani is set to make her debut in streaming with Yash Raj Entertainment’s series “Mandala Murders,” a thrilling project directed by Gopi Puthran, known for “Mardaani 2.” Additionally, she plays the lead in Dinesh Vijan’s film “Sarvagunn Sampanna.”

She is also completing shoots for “Raid 2” alongside Ajay Devgn and finishing “Badtameez Gill,” as well as “Abir Gulaal,” featuring Fawad Khan.

Vaani initially gained recognition in the 2013 film “Shuddh Desi Romance,” where she starred alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra, focusing on the topic of live-in relationships. She has since appeared in several notable films such as “Befikre,” “War,” “Bell Bottom,” “Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui,” “Shamshera,” and “Khel Khel Mein.”
