On Monday morning in Gurugram, a collision occurred between an electric vehicle (EV) and a loading three-wheeler on Farrukhnagar Road, directly in front of the Basai Water Treatment Plant. Both vehicles sustained severe damage in the accident, while the drivers suffered only minor injuries. The incident took place around 8:00 AM.
The EV was approaching from the direction of Farrukhnagar, while the loading three-wheeler was transporting goods. Suddenly, the two vehicles collided, resulting in the front sections of both being completely mangled. Fortunately, neither driver sustained serious injuries. Passersby and locals who arrived at the scene immediately offered assistance and transported the injured individuals to a nearby hospital.
Both drivers were discharged after receiving preliminary medical treatment. Upon receiving information about the incident, a team from the Police Control Room arrived at the site. The ongoing investigation aims to determine whose negligence caused the collision. Minor accidents frequently occur on Farrukhnagar Road due to heavy traffic; however, a potentially serious tragedy was averted in this instance. Following the accident, traffic on the road remained stalled for a short period before being restored to normal flow.
Car Strikes Security Guard in Kherki Daula
Meanwhile, in Kherki Daula, a speeding car struck a security guard. In a complaint filed with the police, Amita—a resident of West Bengal—stated that she resides with her husband in a rented accommodation at Ramkishan’s house in Khoh village.
Accident Occurs While Returning from Duty
Her husband, Ram Ramkrishna Mahto, works as a security guard. Around 7:55 PM, he was riding his bicycle from Sati Chowk (Sector 90) towards Jai Singh Chowk. As he reached the vicinity of Fauji Dhaba, an Alto car approaching from behind collided with him. Passersby subsequently admitted him to RV Hospital.
