Mumbai: TV actress Kanika Mann recently opened up about the pressure she faces from her family to get married and have children. Sharing a funny anecdote, the actress explained that her family members consider her a ‘zero’ until she has two or three children.
Kanika made this revelation during a conversation with actor Asif Khan on an episode of Bigg Boss 20. She said, “My family members consider me a ‘zero’. Until I give them two or three children, I am a ‘zero’.”

After listening to Kanika, actor Asif Khan also revealed that his mother constantly asks him to get married and have children. He said that while his mother used to express her desire directly, now she hints at it in different ways.
According to Asif, his mother often overlooks his professional achievements and focuses more on the prospect of becoming a father.
Mother always awaits the good news of a child
Asif recounted an incident where he booked tickets for Umrah with his family. He was excited to share the good news with his mother. But his mother thought he was about to announce he was about to become a father.
Asif said, “Once we had booked tickets for Umrah. I shouted downstairs, ‘Mom, good news, good news!’ My mother stood up and asked what was wrong. I told her we were going for Umrah. Hearing this, she sat back down and said, ‘I thought you were going to give me good news on the third day.'”
He continued, “I told my mother that there are many things besides children; think about them too.”
Asif shared another interesting anecdote, explaining that a few days ago, he called his mother and told her he had good news. His mother immediately replied that he was going to make her a grandmother.
However, Asif explained that he was informing her about his entry into Bigg Boss. He told his mother that he was going on the show, not that he was giving her the good news of becoming a grandmother.
