The day before, a decision was made to spend 79,000 crore rupees on purchasing military equipment and supplies for the Indian Army. The incidents in the last days of the year in Bangladesh, where frenzied mobs killed Hindus and burned their homes, have angered every Indian. It is hoped that Bangladesh, which largely imports its essential goods from India, will be taught a lesson by India on both economic and military fronts.
